PIM 1.15.0 brings a full change history to the catalog, a new way to publish product data to the systems that need it, and a much clearer set of tools for managing how products and variants relate to each other.

New

Audit Logs: PDP Change history and a dedicated Audit Logs Module

Every change to your catalog is now recorded and searchable in one place, covering products, variants, product templates and attributes. The history lists what changed, when, and who changed it, newest first. Product pages also carry an improved change log of their own.

  • Open any entry for the full picture. Each record expands to show what happened, the exact time, the person responsible, the item affected and — where available — the before-and-after values of every field that changed.

  • See removals, not just edits. Deletions are recorded alongside updates, so a product leaving the catalog is as traceable as one being changed.

  • Find a specific change fast. Search by user, change ID, event name, item ID or item name, alongside your filters rather than instead of them. Filter by date range to review a particular window.

  • Export for compliance. Download the history as a spreadsheet. The export honours whatever search and filters you have applied.

  • Jump straight to the source. Where a destination exists, an entry links directly to the product, variant or attribute it refers to.

Channel management

Channels are how you make a defined slice of your catalog available to another system. 1.15.0 introduces the full channel experience.

  • Guided setup. Creating a channel takes three steps: enter the channel details and choose which sites it draws from, tick the attributes you want to publish, then review and publish. Required product properties are always included, and there is nothing to map or reshape.

  • Save now, publish when ready. A channel can be saved as a draft and finished later. Publishing is a one-time step; after that you edit the channel and save, and the changes take effect immediately.

  • A single view of your channel footprint. The channel list shows every channel with its sites, publish status and attribute count. Search, filter, sort, edit and delete from one screen.

  • Data stays current on its own. Once a channel is published, live product and variant data flows to it continuously — no manual push, no scheduled export.

  • A complete catalog stream. Alongside the per-channel streams, PIM now publishes one always-current stream carrying every live product and variant with all of its data. Integration teams can connect to this directly instead of requesting a bespoke feed.

Product lines and collections

Product lines and collections are now fully supported in the catalog.

  • See a product line's full detail in one place, including every product attached to it and every collection beneath it.

  • Remove a product from a product line and its linked collections in a single action.

  • Look up products by the collection or line they belong to.

Product and variant relationships

Linking and delinking have been rebuilt around the product, so there is now one clear place to manage which variants belong to which product.

  • Add Variant now offers a choice. On a product's Variants tab, Add Variant opens a window with two options: link one or more existing variants, or create a brand-new one.

  • Link and delink from the product. Attach existing variants from the product page or straight from the product list, and remove a variant's link individually or in bulk from the PDP. Delinking never deletes the variant, and only variants matching the product's template are offered.

  • Pending changes are clearly flagged. Any link or delink waiting to go live is labelled on the variant row, with a banner until you publish. The publish step names exactly what is about to go live and reports the outcome, including partial results.

  • The variant screen is now read-only for links. It still lists the products a variant belongs to, each one clickable through to its own page, but all changes are made from the product side. Duplicating a variant no longer copies its product links.

Improvements

Navigation

  • Clicking a product name in the product list opens it directly in Edit mode.

  • The single-product menu now gives you direct access to the product's published version. You can also open the published version of a product from the link available on the PDP.

  • Both the published and edit views carry a link out to the product page.

Catalog and search

  • Richer feature data in the Catalog API. Feature descriptions are now returned alongside the display name, so your storefront can show the descriptive text without a second lookup. (Support ticket 1954)

  • Search respects your filters. Search results now always honour the filters you have applied, so what you see on screen matches the criteria you set.

  • Product popularity is now site-aware. Popularity data is held per site, so results reflect the site being browsed. (Support ticket 1962 )

Removal of legacy content pages

The Drupal-backed content pages have been retired from the portal. Files Manager, Product Categories, Navigation and Custom Pages are no longer available, and Drupal is no longer offered as a content bucket source. This completes the move to Cloudinary for media management.

Fixes

  • A variant created from the Variants tab and then published could disappear from the product entirely. Variants now publish reliably from every entry point.

  • A published variant could vanish from both its product and search results when the product had been published ahead of it. It now stays visible and searchable.

  • Deleted draft variants were still counted in a product's variant total and returned in the product's detail. Deletions are now reflected immediately.

  • Batch variant updates were not applying site changes. Adding or removing sites across multiple variants now works as expected.

  • Corrections to the Template and Variant update APIs, including the linked items and status values they return.

  • A Boolean attribute set to default true did not show as true when a variant was opened from the Variants tab, and attribute values could be lost if the window was closed before name and SKU were saved. Both are resolved.

  • After a bulk import that removed and re-added variants, the product list's Publish filter showed variant data that did not match the published version.

  • Attribute dropdowns did not apply the first value selected, requiring a second attempt.

  • Some product version records showed timestamps in an inconsistent format.
