This release delivers a set of targeted enhancements to the Rithum integration, improving marketplace data accuracy, attribute consistency across parent and variant items, and overall readiness for Amazon and other downstream channels.
What’s Included
Marketplace Condition Handling
When marketplaceProduct = true, the Rithum attribute Condition is now consistently sent with the value “New”.
Ensures all marketplace-eligible items are correctly marked as new.
Warehouse Location & Amazon Item Type for Lamp Products
A warehouse location is now included in the Rithum payload with the following value: 24000 E. 19th Ave, Aurora, CO 80019
Lamp products are now correctly identified by sending the appropriate Amazon item type on both parent and variant records, ensuring proper routing and classification.
Description Alignment for Amazon and Variants
The cleaned (formatted) version of description_en_us is now used for:
AMZDescription
Variant descriptions
This ensures readable, consistent descriptions without HTML and avoids inheriting parent descriptions when a variant has its own content.
UPC Duplication for Variants
Variant UPC data is now sent in two fields:
The existing upcRAFC field
The standard Rithum UPC field
This allows downstream systems to rely on the standard UPC field without impacting existing integrations.
Brand Handling on Parents and Variants
Brand information is now included in both parent and variant payloads.
If a variant has a brand explicitly set, it is preserved and not overwritten by the parent brand.
Sanitized Text for Formatted Fields
All formatted text attributes are now sent as sanitized, human-readable text rather than raw HTML.
This reduces rendering issues and ensures cleaner, marketplace-ready content in Rithum.
Amazon Product Type Mapping
Amazon item types are now mapped correctly to AmzProductType values. For example:
Table Lamp / Floor Lamp → lamp
Mattress → mattress
Bed Pillow → pillow
Ensures accurate product classification for Amazon listings.
